· Variety of stalls including, The Cat Protection League, plants and flowers stall, Phoenix Cards, Vanessa’s Wooden Toys, Just for You jewellery, Bali Beats (fair trade musical instruments). Carol’s Art, Usborne Books, Sad Cats, Cup Cake Crafts, Alpha Unique, Virgin Vie, Making Music & Barbara Lewis.

· Ducklings stall selling a Christmas Quiz, Cards and tags, and a Present and Wrapping stall.

· The traditional Friends Cake Stall

· Face painting

· Bric a brac

· Lucky dip

· Refreshments

· Santa’s grotto

· Book tombola

This year we fitted in more stall holders thanks to Sarah’s excellent booking service and Stephen’s space planning skills.    It felt busy and despite the credit crunch plenty of shopping was done.  Several of the traders generously donated something from their stall for the raffle, for which we were very grateful.

 

Santa once again made his annual trip to Hunsdon and was visited by many of the younger children (and a few of the curious older ones).

 

The duty face-painters this year, Karen and Lorraine, were kept very busy—see the pictures.

 

All in all, it was another successful event.  If you have ideas about how we might ring the changes in 2009, please contact a committee member and let us know what you think.
