On the 7th of November Hunsdon celebrated an event that has been going for several years now - bonfire night! People from the village filled the playground in excitement as the fireworks were lit. Smells drifted from the stalls-hotdogs were sizzling and delicious soups being stirred. Young children gazed upon the fireworks and shrieked with delight when the neon colours exploded and patterned in the black sky. Screamers, rockets, sizzlers, Catherine wheels and the fountains were amazing and colourful, lighting and lifting up every one’s face. Everyone had a very joyful time seeing the fireworks and can’t wait for next year…”
